Wow what a week!!!

Hiya

Wow…what a week it has been!  Here at The Coaching Institute we have been working like Trojans with back – to – back- to – back trainings……it is hard to describe the feeling, except to say that the energy rises so much that its like a wave of positivity carrying you through the day.  It really is an amazing way to spend the day….watching our students thrive and prosper and the committment to changing lives is what bonds us all.

So after a week of Advanced Skills, Mastermind and now the latest round of new superstar students starting their journey up in Sydney today we can sit back and say that it truly has been another amazing week.  The journey of our life coaches is what we are here for and it doesn’t matter how many times we have the trainings, each and every one brings a new, special something in the way of experiences.

Have a fantastic weekend and we look forward to another thrilling week next week!

Masterminders!!

Hiya

The energy at The Coaching Institute just went up about 10 fold today with the arrival of our fabulous Mastermind students.  If you ever want to meet a group of people that are living large and out to change the world….these are the people you want to see!  Wow….they really have it going on!!

Changing lives is the name of the game but it is the effort and enthusiasm that they bring to the place that is what really makes them stand out.  Nothing is too big or too challenging and they come here to learn everything they possibly can.  Inspiration is in abundance in the building right now and it is absolutely impossible not to get swept up in it.

It is only Day 1 of Mastermind and already it has been a great day…….what else we can expect from this week will be something to behold…..stay tuned for all the details!

The Week Ahead

So welcome to another week…..of course everyone will have had a magnificent weekend and be looking forward to a productive and prosperous week ahead.

Another brilliant Advanced Skills training session took place over the weekend and as always the reviews for Joe Pane are out of this world.  Let’s face it the man is magical….

Looking ahead to this week we have a few days before the Masterminders hit our doors…..and boy do those guys bring some energy with them when they arrive.  Come Wednesday The Coaching Institute will be pumping with ideas and Life Coaches wanting to light up the world…..it is truly inspiring and a sight to behold.

Then come Friday we head back up to Sydney for the latest round of our Foundations of Coaching Success intake weekends……the demand up in Harbour Town has been just amazing……

So stay tuned for all the weekly events…….and what a week it is going to be!

Telstra Business Women’s Award – Commonwealth Bank Business Owner Award 2010

We are in no doubt here at The Coaching Institute of Sharon’s brillance as a business woman and in our hearts and minds this award is already won!  Hopefully the Telstra Awards board see what we see and reward Sharon for her amazing work and for creating a business that not only changes the lives of our students but also the lives of those who work here.

Happy News from a student!

Hello Alice & All at The Coaching Institute,

I would love to share the following news with you:

I enrolled as a Diploma Student with The Coaching Institute for three main reasons.  One of those reasons was that my husband Jason & I intended to start a family in the not too distant future, and I felt I had a responsibility (to myself, Jason & any future children) to become the best person I can be, to create a really positive and supportive environment in which to raise children, and to be a positive role model.

Happily, we conceived a child sooner than we expected, and this meant I had to exercise some flexibility in my plans for my future coaching practice.   While I certainly haven’t broken any coaching records, I facilitated my first series of workshops and signed my first paying clients when I was 7 months pregnant.  I also had the pleasure of completing my NLP training around this time.  Having used some hypnotherapy techniques in the past, I took a particular interest in Milton’s hypnotic language (thanks Alice) and I immediately went home & purchased a hypno-birthing audio.  I listened to this audio every day for the last 8 wks of my pregnancy.  It is basically a really awesome “future pace” about child-birth with detailed V, A, & K descriptions:  “For you, child birth is a quick and pain-free experience.  That’s right.  Very Good!” From the beginning, I felt confident in my ability to cope during child birth (unlike some friends of mine who were “so scared!!” in the lead up to the birth) and I hoped to be able to have a drug-free natural labour.

Now having little Nash in our lives has certainly given a whole new dimension to the state of gratitude.  Words cannot adequately describe what a wonderful experience parenthood is.  Nash is such a humbling gift and really gives us a new perspective on life.  I’m looking forward to showing him how to “live above the line”, use presuppositions with him, and teach him about how what he chooses to focus on influences how he feels.

Thank you Alice, Sharon & The Coaching Institute staff for helping me become a better role model for our son.

The Best Training Ever!!

‘How To Run A Successful Workshop’ Training – July 2010

What a weekend….what a training…..the verdict is in and the concensus is that this was the best training session ever!!  Once again the wizard Sharon Pearson has rocked our students world and left them with a whole new way of thinking and a whole new way of being.  There is nothing like the Monday after a training as the buzz from the training session is palpable throughout the office with the phones ringing off the hook with excited students wanting to share their experience.  So there is no ‘I hate Mondays’ around here…..instead its a ‘Magnificent Monday’ and a great way to kick start the week.
