Busy times at The Coaching Institute as we prepare to launch day one of Breakthrough to Business Success in Sydney and Advanced Skills Training in Melbourne tomorrow. Today was a great time for our team to reconnect with the purpose of why we do what we love to do. No matter what has to be done and how tight the deadline, when we have a big enough WHY, we make it happen. The why of any business is purpose… the vision of the company. The way we connect with and deliver the purpose is our HOW. In times of heavy workload – get very clear on purpose, and then get on with it

Last Minute Changes…

The Coaching Institute is a buzz today as we call in all of our contacts to assist us to find a space large enough to host the Melbourne Breakthrough To Business Success event in November. Phew: we have managed to secure a space at short notice. The ‘can do’ mind set kept the team on an even keel as we reacted to the overwhelming response to the launch. The pre launch has been si successful that we have had to cap the invitations off.

So what? Well it is another day at The Coaching Institute that reminds us all that where we place our focus will be the outcome we will achieve. Approaching a problem with a solution based mindset has to produce a solution. So many people wallow in the problem and experience overwhelm and get stuck.

Here’s to solution based thinking!

Welcome To Our Newest Graduates…

On Saturday, The Coaching Institute congratulated our newest group of graduates.

After four days in the ‘How To Run A Successful Workshop’ the room was buzzing with excitement at the new opportunities that had opened up, thanks to the industry leading training they had just experienced and graduated from. After making final presentations to their groups and receiving the tick of accreditation from the trainer, the room exploded. If you love a training experience that is interactive, challenging and fun – this one is a MUST on your training calendar.

NLP Rocks Melbourne

As I write, there are 91 NLP Practitioners in the making under the expert guidance of our Master NLP Trainer, Alice Haemmerle. I have popped into the training room each day and the wall of vibrant and warm energy that hits me as I enter the room is worth bottling!

The group is having fun and their contribution to the training and each others personal development is inspiring. Well done guys – the team here at The Coaching Institute salutes you.

ACCOUNTABLE

Today our tenacious team at The Coaching Institute ran the weekly meeting with the anacronym of ACCOUNTABLE as our theme. Within 30 minutes we had challenged a few of our group to take control of the session, create a leadership style for the exercise modelling the Disc profile communication style of a ‘D’ (Dominance) and utilize our combined knowledge and passion for CANI (constant and never ending improvement) to create a meaning for the word that unified the team’s interpretation.

To see everyone in the group participate, create outcomes beyond the ordinary and then expand the opportunity to then inspire the team was a real treat to be part of. If you are a student of our amazing Institute; you’re in great hands. If you’re not yet a student – (in the words of our world famous travel advertisement)… “where the bloody hell are you?”

No matter who you are or what your role is in the workplace… why not create a fun and interactive activity for your team mates at work that engages their passion and connects them to the vision of the organisation. Go on – have a go, you might just have some fun while you learn something new.

Congratulations to Sharon Pearson on WINNING the Victorian Telstra Business Woman of The Year award. The team rolled out the red carpet (literally) and paused with party poppers and blowers to surprise Sharon as she came into The Coaching Institute after the ceremony. The BONUS is we have a super group of new students upstairs in the training room, who were elated to join us in acknowledging the achievement of excellence through hard word, focus and having an audacious vision – where our students get to change the lives of others through service, all because Sharon Pearson had a dream and then took action. You’re a superstar Shaz.
