I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year for you, your families and friends!

2010 has been an amazing year and we are looking forward to an even bigger year in 2011 with even more growth and opportunity. Make sure you take time for yourself these holidays to rest, relax and recuperate while you plan your goals for next year – remember make them big!

A personal note from HT…

Amazing opportunities have crossed my path and I have seized control of my destiny by accepting these opportunities that take me away from The Coaching Institute. The Coaching Institute is owned by a multi award winning business woman who employs the very best of talent to execute her business plan. No individual is bigger than the business and it is a thriving, healthy and robust company that will outlast any of us long into the future, because of its truly elite training programs.

It has been my pleasure to serve you. I know that you will continue to support the team at The Coaching Institute as they transition to a new management structure, which will be seamless thanks to the commitment the team make to each other and you, the student. There are a number of new and exciting classes and special bonuses in the pipeline for 2011 and beyond. You are part of a unique world class community of coaches. The tools you have and will continue to gain from your training programs give you more choices in life than any other program I know of. It’s never the training alone that will enable you to live your ideal day, but how you apply it. My wish is that you continue to learn and apply for your lifetime. What an amazing week at The Coaching Institute. Our newest graduates of Master Practitioner of NLP floated out of the building on Friday night. Just as well their coaching tool kit was loaded with new tools to weight them down or they would have floated off! I have said it before, and I’ll say it again – if you are at the stage in your training that this is now relevant and haven’t yet got this training on your radar, reassess your plans for 2011 and book it in. The most powerful experience personally and for me, it brings all of the Diploma and other training together beautifully. 

Congratulations Alice (Superstar Trainer) and all the AMAZING graduates…we love that you will pay it forward and create huge change and opportunity for your clients, very cool!

It has been a very busy few months here at our small Lancaster office. This month in particular marks the 5th Anniversary of Stepping Stones Nigeria: a time for reflection and celebration. It is truly incredible to think what has been achieved in short a relatively short period of time. Today, Stepping Stones Nigeria can proudly claim to be the leading international child rights charity working in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria: a region renowned for its insecurity, volatility and widespread abuses of human rights. Whilst many other charities focus on helping people in safer and less needy regions, Stepping Stones Nigeria’s work continues to bring hope for a brighter future to the lives of thousands of the region’s most vulnerable children.  We are immensely proud of the work of our Nigerian partners and are particularly excited about some of the projects that we are working on together at the moment. As you will see from the newsletter, the Read and Write Now! Project is already beginning to help thousands of Nigerian children to be able to read and write properly: skills that many children leave school without. Operation Enlightenment is taking the Prevent Abuse of Children Today (PACT) message into the lives and minds of community members throughout the Niger Delta and will help them to challenge deeply held beliefs such as that in child witches.  We believe that such long-term approaches are the best solutions to resolving the Niger Delta’s problems and hope that you share our vision too.

I am delighted to also send you a special update report following your generous gift earlier this year (attached). As you will see the project is making significant advancements in enlightening communities and raising awareness about issues related to deeply held beliefs in the Niger Delta. We are also about to make a big push this month to distribute even more materials and reach thousands more people so we look forward to updating you on the progress of this soon too. 

The importance of your support cannot be underestimated. Often our work can be very challenging and such support always helps to raise our spirits and gives us the opportunity to carry out so many exciting projects, so thank you again. We hope you enjoy reading the materials.
