Of course we are delighted that we have contact with our sensational students every day we spend at The Coaching Institute. Part of that connection is checking in on how are students are progressing, and celebrating their success. And a consistent pattern that we notice is when a student is persistent, just keeps turning up and takes action is based on the fact that they have clear goals. And most often, those students that experience far more challenge around completing their studies, obtaining clients and creating success haven’t built the foundations of success through clear goal setting. Having a sense of purpose of why you do what you do is the difference between being successful and being fragmented. If you are clear on what you want to achieve, learn and develop strength in your coaching and business skills will be what links you to the purpose for which you have taken on this journey in the first place. The power of setting goals creates purpose and vision…..take action today. “I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, it is still the common denominator separating those who live their dreams from those who live in regret.” Anthony Robbins.

For avid readers of Robert Cialdini’s national bestseller Influence, The Psychology of Persuasion, they will certainly reinforce that this book contains absolute gold in terms of understanding marketing and how you can apply these principles in your own business. If you are a student who has recently joined The Coaching Institute, you will no doubt be exposed to the wisdom that Cialdini shares with his readers on the secrets to persuasion such as Automatic Influence and the Law of Reciprocity ( a law so overpowering as it is old and embedded in our society since we first began to use it). In fact, Cialdini states that “The reciprocity rule that empowers…….is too strong and socially beneficial…for us to want to violate it”. It is an excellent read that says much of how we are influenced to buy or not to buy, to trust or not to trust and in fact, this book will assist each student to better understand why people say yes, and how they can apply what they learn to their own market niche. Take the time to read and understand how you can utilise the learning. Share it and discuss it with your coaching colleagues. It is well worth the time it will take to pick it up and make it happen!!!!!!

Just like life, there are beginings and endings in everything. And today we saw the final day of the absolutely sensational Mastermind bonus three day training ‘Your Personal Success’….truly brilliant responses by the participants will be shared with you more over time. And…..drum roll…..we say hello to the participants of our training program ‘How to Put Together Your Workshop’ being held at The Coaching Institute from Thursday 24th March to Sunday 27th March. Something special was in the air at The Coaching Institute today. Now you know that Mastermind is truly an aspirational program for those wanting to step their business up to an even higher level. Well….today Masterminders were treated to the first day of a special bonus event……However we’ve been sworn to secrecy and the only thing that we can share was some feedback from one of the participants…”it was rockin….the value that was given during our session today will be used by the participants as a powerful addition to their coaching resources….”. Intrigued? So are we! ………Hopefully we can share more using our sensational persuasive powers however we’re not sure if we’re any match for the Masterminders!

When Julio De Lafitte offered to join the newest Mastermind Members in the 5-Day Closed Door Training at The Coaching Institute, he reflected on his own journey – “It’s like going into a Space Ship…..you know you are going into space, but you have no idea how cool the Supernova is going to be”.

And….you know we totally understand how truly amazing this is……and how lucky those of us still early in our own coaching journey have the opportunity to learn and develop from such generous people. You know, sometimes there are celebrations and then sometimes there are CELBRATIONS! And…..do we have we some celebrations to share with our coaching community today!…………

Firstly a huge welcome to our first group of students who are participating in the first ever NLP Practitioner training being run in Sydney from Tuesday 15th March until Monday 21st March. It is truly sensational for us to be able to offer this exceptional and ever popular training program not only in Melbourne – now also in Sydney! Enjoy the ride guys with our queen Alice at the helm!

And closer to our mother ship here in Melbourne (aka The Coaching Institute) we have had some massive reasons for celebration. Our professional language went out the window today when we ‘oohed and ahhed’ as Doc showed us photos of his new baby boy. Yes – Doc is a Dad!!!! Congratulations to Doc and his beautiful wife Beth on the birth of Aidan James Murdoch born Sunday 13th March weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 20ozs. We send lots of love to Aidan and cannot wait to get the chance to see him when he visits us here at The Coaching Institute.

And last but definitely not least, a huge Happy Birthday! to our gorgeous Course Consultant Annie T! We managed to help Annie celebrate in style by assisting her to eat a massive chocolate cake (with cherries galore!) and came back for seconds just to make sure Annie didn’t have to carry it home! We know that many of our students have started their journey with Annie so make sure you drop her a line and wish her many happy returns!
