    Hello coach
I have a few questions, which I guess are trivia but am curious to know the answer to it.
    1. Does a coach take down notes or provide a template eg. action plan to a client seeking guidance with career goals?
    2. Can you meet with a new client in a cafe to coach or is it considered inappropriate?
    3. Would a coach's fee for group sessions be per hour or per person? what is the norm?
    4. Is it common for a coach to go to the client's home?
    5. When a coach is at a party with friends and one of his/her friends wants to be coached, would the best response be to say “lets have a one to one session together another time”.
    6. With a home office, is it appropriate to have a group coaching session?
Thank you so much for your time to read and hopefully answer my questions.
    Cheers Deborah James

    Hi Deb,
Some answers for you and thanks for the reply…
I dont take notes when I am coaching face to face, it is very important that you are connecting (mirroring/matching) with your clients – we teach you how to do this in the training!
You can definately coach in a cafe..
All of my group sessions are per person, this is a wonderful way to leverage your time and deliver your message to the masses!
We reccoemnd that you do not go to a clients home..- A workplace is common place for executive and business coaches though!

My experience has taught me to NEVER coach my froends or family – I am their friend, brother, husband and that is the roll they want me to play in their life! Besides, we have so many coaches that we become friens with in our community we can alsways refer them to a completely impartial coach specialising in that area..

I have had groups at home before – your clients main concern is that you help them and that you can over deliver – thats why it is impotant to have some solid training. I highly reccomend NLP at some stage of your coaching journey!
