The Coaching Institute experiences complaints, as does any organisation with a large customer base.
We take all complaints very seriously and encourage any student, current or past, who wishes to raise a complaint to contact us directly. Every complaint made against The Coaching Institute or its staff will be fully investigated, responded to and if required, result in remedial action to prevent future complaints.
We are Australia’s #1 life coaching school and have continuously been a registered training organisation (RTO) for the last 12 years, offering Australia’s most comprehensive range of life coaching courses. As well as being approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), we are also a recognised school with the International Coach Guild (ICG).
Our courses meet the highest international and national standards around coaching. The ICG established the coaching Code of Ethics and holds its members responsible to meet the Code and professional standards, ensuring they understand, advocate and apply the Code of Ethics in their coaching business and situations.
The Coaching Institute’s courses have been developed in accordance with internationally and nationally recognised standards guided by the purpose, values and beliefs of the Institute, its founder and the network of coaching experts and leaders who endorse and implement The Coaching Institute’s programs. Our main point of difference is the success rate of the students who choose to learn at The Coaching Institute which currently has 1,000 students enrolled in courses.
The Coaching Institute consistently scores in the high 90s for ‘student satisfaction’ among students who complete courses and we enjoy the highest course completion rate in our sector. The Coaching Institute students consistently attend additional free events and classes provided by us in large numbers, which is further evidence of strong student engagement.
The Coaching Institutes student at the centre policy means we are constantly reviewing and improving our operations and courses to remain at the forefront of life coaching in Australia.
Because we have the highest course completion rate in our sector, and the fact our students and graduates genuinely love their journey with us, we are mainly a referral-based coaching school.
We also offer choice. We provide a range of developmental pathways and certification courses to choose from. No other life coaching body in Australia invests in their students, trainers and facilitators as much as we do in terms of standards, content, courses, competencies, mentoring and assessment. We have never received a complaint in writing about the style or delivery of our courses, our approach to marketing or the conduct of our staff in 12 years of training, aside from the 2 complaints made to ASQA in 2012.
These were fully investigated and were subsequently found to be without merit. We also provide ongoing support to our students throughout their courses.
There are periodic calls placed to our students, Q&A sessions, Coach and Connect events around Australia, an extensive online community and classes where support matters are raised and acted upon. While this support is extensive and ongoing, The Coaching Institute expects that its students are also prepared to take responsibility for their success and seek out support when needed.
