We are experiencing record numbers of inquiries from people wanting to be coaches and wanting to be coached. There is even a waiting list for some coaches! This means more and more people are getting curious about how coaching can play a role in their lives. It is being discovered as an effective methodology for powerful, lasting transformation. Your Coaching Success – Rebecca Ramsay
She was looking for something to help people before joining The Coaching Institute. Rebecca had different jobs before hooking into the coach journey. Rebecca says she had no idea what she wanted to do and just seemed to be “searching”. It all started whilst she was exploring career options in massage and counseling through the internet and came across the term “Life Coaching”. She thought, “Huh, I’d like to know more”. So on she went to explore further and The Coaching Institute came across her radar. She read the TCI website, answered the questions on “Do you have what it takes to be a Coach?” and indeed all of her answers were a YES. During the time she was exploring where she should train as a Life Coach she also came across other Coaching Training Schools in Queensland. She reluctantly admits her AD modality took over and she conducted thorough research of where she should train to be a Coach. She kept coming back to The Coaching Institute, in particular she loved Sharon’s video of her live seminar MPower. It just seemed to resonate with her. She was compelled by the video and says she watched it all the time. Her husband came into the room while she was taking in the video he told her whole face changed and knew there was something happening at another level for her. Rebecca decided on The Coaching Institute because she felt it had more “life” than the others. This was the beginning of her coaching journey less than 12 months ago. When she was thinking of the ideal job and what that would be like… this is it! Today, Rebecca Ramsay is a respected Coach Facilitator for TCI Coaching Forum and teleclasses. She loves that she’s been able to merge her personal and work life wholly and completely. Rebecca has her own successful coach practice in Queensland called Clear Light Coach. She has just done her first guest spot for Radio Noosa and she really got a buzz out being interviewed and talking about what she loves which is personal development and inspiring others. Coaching has changed her outlook in life she enjoys much more the work she does for a living. Rebecca says “I love coaching because I know I can never really master it… there’s always more to learn!” Rebecca says she sees herself as “An inspirator and catalyst for her clients to create new understandings, adopt new strategies process and beliefs and to empower them as individuals or groups to even more success.

The Most Crucial Skill By Joe Pane In western society we have been ‘taught’ to subscribe to lots of beliefs or myths that are based on no facts. For example we have been ‘taught’ that “It’s not what you know it’s who you know.” What if it wasn’t at all about the who or the what? You can be in front of the biggest who with the best what however if you are lacking in the most important, most crucial skill of all you will not succeed. Its been said by many and proven over time that the greatest skill of all is this: Your ability to get along with people. The way you measure this is by asking: How many different (different beliefs systems, cultural background, vastly different interests etc) types of people do I get along with ? Can I connect with? The most crucial skill of all is: It is not who you know or what you know – it’s how well you connect. This brings us to EQ which stands for Emotional Quotient, also known as Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence is our ability to understand and manage our emotions and behaviour. Equally important is our ability to understand and manage the emotions and behaviour of others. Logic, talent and IQ only accounts for between 4 and 20% of your performance/success in your career, relationships, sport and life. Between 80 and 96% of your success comes from EQ. It is via EQ that you will learn how to connect with yourself in ways you never thought possible. Of course this means that you will then have more to give others in terms of connection. This crucial skill serves as the platform for your success. Without EQ you cannot experience fully the play called success because you have no stage. That stage is EQ. Something to think about.
