Testimonials

"Dear Sharon, Joe, Connie & TCI Support Team,

A heartfelt “thank you” for a truly transformational 7 days! TCI’s NLP Practitioner training quite literally turned my life around. No doubt about it.

I’ve been pain-free since I completed the course. That’s following 18 years of ‘doing’ fibromyalgia. I even cured myself of restless leg syndrome. If faced with a health ‘challenge’, I just ask myself “how am I doing this?” and presto it’s gone.

Controlling my ‘state’, I discovered, isn’t limited to health. The weekend following our NLP training, I put in an awesome paddle at the Corporate Games - Outrigger Canoeing held at Docklands.

Thanks to the TCI team, I’m living purposefully and with passion, creating the world I really want. My map of the world has changed irrevocably.

Now to pass that gift along...

In light & love,"

<$title$>Dear Reader,

Recently we had a booth at the Mind, Body & Spirit Festival at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre where we were able to connect more with like minded people – who want to achieve an extraordinary life!

It amazes me there are many people who want or desire an extraordinary life and struggle with making the decision to make it happen. So often we put ourselves in a place of “making that decision” or putting it off until “things are right” and that’s where we stay or stagnate. The festival is confirmation to me all the information you need to create the life you want is right before our eyes in abundance. Equally, in abundance are people who want to be supported and guided through their personal life’s journey to a rewarding and fulfilling life. Be that person to support and guide people through the most important and life changing journey of them all – the journey to “authenticity”.

We would love to hear from you.

Warmest regards,

Sharon

Integrity Paves the Way to Achievement

Have you ever heard of “walk your talk”?  It means, don’t just tell people what your values are; demonstrate to them with your actions.  Live them, be them.  That’s integrity.

When your behavior matches your values, you have integrity.  By values, I mean your business principles, personal values, vision and purpose.  When your behavior and values are aligned, you feel good, maybe even exuberant about what you’re doing.  Your self-esteem rises and so does your success.  However, when you actions conflict with your values, you’re more likely to get a nagging feeling that what you’re doing isn’t right, even if it’s moving toward your goal.

There is a concept in geometry that explains integrity very well it is “congruence”.  When one shape exactly fits over another, they are congruent.  They are identical in size and shape.  When our behavior and our values are congruent, we’re living with integrity.

To fulfill your dreams, your actions must be congruent with your goals and your purpose.  As Coaches we know successful people have clearly written goals, vision statements and know their purpose.  We also know that these successful people plan their action steps needed to achieve their goals.  However, it is their commitment to their purpose that will keep them on course when being pulled in too many directions.  So, “plans” are your road map and “purpose” is the destination then “values” is your vehicle to greater integrity and successes.

Living with integrity will give you the power and drive to a more fulfilling and successful life.  It raises your self respect and earns you the trust and respect of others.  When you live with integrity regarding your values, vision and purpose, you are more likely to succeed – in business and in every aspect of your life.

So, be an extraordinary Coach “walk your talk” and let your integrity pave your way to creating the life you want to live.

Your Questions Answered

How do I choose the right Life Coach? DW (Melbourne)

That’s a great question, DW.  Many people give this very little thought and generally base how the choose a coach on whether they like them or not.  That’s it.

However, increasingly there is more professional Life Coaches in the market.  So, today you have the ability to choose the right Life Coach who will complement your values or model the life you want to create for self.  Before choosing the right Life Coach, think about “What is it you want to achieve” with your Coach.  Coaching is currently unregulated though this will change in the near future.  So, many Coaches in the industry right now, have no professional qualification as a Life Coach.  A large number of Coaches are filtering into the Coaching industry from management and consultancy.

The key things to look for are

  • What is the Coach’s professional and training background?
  • Does the Coach have formal qualification and training in Coach skills?
  • Are they a Member of a respected and reputable Coach association, such as the International Coach Federation (ICF)?
  • Can the Coach clearly articulate the differences between counseling and coaching?
  • What tools and techniques does this Coach access? Goal setting, Disk Analysis, Success Principles or Neuro Linguistic Program (NLP) are the responses you’re looking for.

Obviously, you still need to feel at ease with your Life Coach, so keep in mind

  • Do I feel comfortable with this Coach?
  • Does the Coach display maturity, humor, sincerity and trustworthiness?
  • Does the Coach show flexibility and a balance between supporting me and challenging me?

Getting a Life Coach can be a huge disappointment or the greatest “life changing” decision you can make.

You wouldn’t get into a car with a person who doesn’t have a license – so, why would you take “your journey” with a person who hasn’t been trained or qualified in Life Coaching?

Student Article

By Simon Hurley (student) – Facing Future

THE EFFECT OF CAUSE

The greatest discovery is that the human being can alter their life by altering their attitude.

I sit here pen in hand watching two football teams in a titanic struggle with 18 minutes left in the second half, 6 points between each other and a penalty count 6 – 1.  The trailing team is pointing & complaining about the injustice of the penalty count as if that is the reason they are behind. I mean its obvious isn’t it.  The referee has found six times, that the losing team has infringed, and penalized them, giving the other team the advantage.

Just as obvious as it is that some people get the advantage because of their upbringing or their financial standing or education or parents or job or just plain luck.
Also as obvious as it is that some people continuously get penalized by their upbringing or their financial standing or education or parents or job or boss or bank account or just because everything happens to them.

These people spend their whole life reacting to what happens to them.  Blaming their life’s woes on others.  These people are at the effect of everything around them.  This means they have no control, or think they have no control.

I’m wondering, if they took control of their life, what would happen?

What these people don’t realize is that the lucky ones are better off because they studied harder at school and then went looking for extra work and studied at night to get more qualifications.  They got the promotion because they started earlier in the morning and finished later at night; they can pay their bills on time because they read books on budgeting, saving & went to investment seminars.

So what could you do to be like the lucky ones?  Or are they lucky?

The future depends on what you do in the present.

By changing how you look at situations and decisions is the easiest way to change you future.  Becoming responsible for your actions and being at cause of your life.

This means that if you are unsure about something important to you, you would go out and learn how to deal with it, THEN putting this new knowledge into action.

The next decision you need to make. Rather than going with the flow and hopping for the best.  You would consider you position and then ACT on this decision with passion and drive.

An opportunity comes your way and rather than thinking that others are worth it you would take this opportunity and run.  After all you caused this opportunity to appear in front of you.

You would automatically keep your eyes open for even more opportunities.
If someone asks you for your opinion, you would answer them with confidence and power, instead of saying “What do you think?”

By being at cause of your life opens you to so many more chances of growing and expanding your horizon.  More people will notice you for the confident, fantastic person you are.  People will offer you more opportunities and even ask you for advice on an issue they are dealing with.

Now I would like to clarify something.  This is not just a quick fix.  You must BE at cause for every moment from now on.  Things are going to happen that you least expect and may seem insurmountable.  These moments are the times you need to BE at cause the most.

So the losing team needs to acknowledge they have made some mistakes in the game of life so far and now find themselves 6 points behind.  They need to make the decision to get the ball, put pressure on the other team, carry the ball forward and make the next 18 minutes their own……… take charge of the game of your life and score the winning points.

The most powerful thing at your disposal is your power to choose.

From now on are you going to be at effect or AT CAUSE?

Who Is The Most Dangerous Person In The World?

By Joe Pane

Let’s think about this for a moment.

All those times you stepped into an elevator and there were people there, they all looked away, at the mere sound of your footsteps and sensing of your body heat.

All those times you have walked down the supermarket aisle or down the street, they all avoided your gaze at the sight of you and presence and sound of you.

All those times you were at the petrol station. As you looked across the car roof tops there were others seemingly like you doing the same thing. Just as you looked at them they avoided your gaze by finding the flipping numbers at their browser safer to look at.

All those times when you were in a public bathroom facility, the silence as you entered, dare not make a noise or else will be noticed – by you.

This all happens because you are the most dangerous person in the world! In fact everyone is scared of everyone. It’s like waking up in the morning and getting scared of your hands!

Remember this next time you go to a networking event, or the next time you are delivering a keynote speech or workshop.

If you are the most dangerous person in the world then so is everybody else! Every one is scared of every one! Isn’t that amazing!!!

So I say go forward in love and with a great smile – at least you won’t be perceived as the most dangerous person in the world then. Who knows they may even smile back and talk to you! Now wouldn’t that be scary?

We take our hat off to you!

Scott MacKay (April Intake) for the awesome job you’ve done to secure a corporate client coaching 20 employees. Absolutely AWESOME!
