I first walked through the doors of The Coaching Institute (TCI) November 2014 and was swept off my feet by the amount of real and authentic people there and had signed up for the Foundations of Coaching Success training run by Joe Pane.
I still remember his words back then about if you're going through hell you just keep going through the tunnel and finally you move through it.
Within 12 months of being involved with TCI, I attended several weekends ‘Courage to Be You’ as well as an evening with Vision Boards. Each time it was refreshing and a vital anchor to keep me focused on moving forward whilst making meaningful connections with others. It was a pivotal time for me as I reconnected with my strength and exploration of values which someone had been swirled around like a centrifuge.
I had left a well sought after managerial role in a hospital and landed in sunny North WA in the Pilbara. This re opened my heart and eyes to the essence of working with people with a true sense of team spirit and reconnected with my soul and needs as a person.
My key attribute that emerged was courage and while the WOW team kept in contact with me up in the dessert I was able to re-engage with work life and others at a different level. I have registered my company in 2016, going to Las Vegas to a kick awesome Quality of Life experience, watching the Super Bowl , checking out as school in the US ,signed up for Strong-Woman training And hung out with Father Bobs crew.
The blanket of feeling sad and worried lifted within two weeks which was a lifelong lesson that depression is the suppression of expression and entrapment of judgement. Never sell yourself or your soul short. The time is now as I'm not waiting for heaven but am having a great time on the stairway. The highway to hell is shut with iron clad bolt.
Thank you to TCI team for connecting.
