I Started my journey just in time for the January Intake weekend in Sydney with a bunch of fantastic budding coaches. Some of which I have built great relationships with and I hope they will be in my life for a lot longer to come.  I have felt nothing but support from my fellow intakers and we are in regular contact on the face book group. It’s like you feel all their trials and tribulations as they are exactly the same as your own, we can also share the successes too.             

I am just over 3 months into my diploma program and I have a goal to have my CERT IV finished by the end of June, which I am pretty much on track with. Just about to set off next Tuesday 10th May to start my NLP training which will be followed straight after with How to run a successful workshop, then 4 days in Sydney with my wife and kids then back to Melbourne for the Advanced Skills weekend with the great Joe pane which will be fantastic. I’m also looking forward to having Sharon as a trainer and feel very excited about that training as I really want to be able to present workshops and seminars in the near future.

The big turning point for me was when I actually started to listen to Joe and Sharon and get my backside to a networking function, which I did, and while the first couple didn’t really achieve much I felt the experience was a learning curve. I then joined BNI as the resident business coach and I know that the first couple of 1 min presentations were stiff awkward and after feeling stupid , I decided that I need to speak from my heart and be totally sincere and wanting to contribute to the others. That was the day one of the members who has a web designing company came to me and said he wanted my help......what a fantastic frightening exhilarating feeling that was. Today I signed him up to a 6 month coaching contract with a fee of $9000 and he is over the moon and raring to go. What’s also great is that is 2/3rds of my diploma cost in one client!!!

I want to have 4 more paying clients by July 15th and then I will have an income of $10,000 per month. I want to do some workshops and seminars starting at the end of June and between now and then develop more products to offer and look to getting a membership site together. I am currently getting a report done through Freelancer and that should give me 200-300 Businesses that I can then make contact with as I will have a survey and a report that tells me all about their business and where they have issues and that is what I will concentrate on, to fix their problems. So slightly busy times ahead but I am loving the ride.
