I began my Coaching Journey in November, attending the Foundations of Coaching Weekend in Melbourne with the incomparable Joe Pane.
That weekend was the weekend I knew that I was in the right place!
I am an Opera Singer by profession, having performed nationally and internationally, and with some of the most incredible and successful artists of our time.
It is something that I am still and will always be passionate about. However, I have known for some time that this was not to be my sole path.
Seeing ever increasing gaps in up-and-coming youth performers, it was in early 2014 I made the decision to devote my life to giving back my performance gifts and knowledge to aspiring performers, alongside my performing career.
With cuts to Performing Arts training happening in universities across the globe, there are gaping holes becoming apparent in the training of the next generation of performers.
The more I train up and coming artists, the more I see it.
The skills upon completion of their University courses are lacking in the performers in the profession and neurotic, sabotaging behaviours are increasing.
It is responsible for inferior skill building and technical proficiency in key areas as well as an unclear or unknown professional mindset and resilience strategies.
To put the icing on the cake, the entertainment industry has recently made news headlines documenting some of the highest recorded levels of mental health issues and depression in ANY field.
These are my colleagues, my friends and the performers I educate and this was where I made my choice to be a part of the decrease these statistics.

The Coaching Institute is a large part of that journey and my own journey to disrupt the “traditions” and grow as the eternal student of life I love being.
I have never been one to accept NO for an answer.
I can often be heard telling the Universe to F%&* the rules and let’s DO THIS!
With the incredible amounts of support and generous teaching value (INSATIABLY generous teaching value) given, TCI have handed me an endless fuel supply for the fire of someone who is already determined, passionate and even sometimes stubborn (totally owning it!).
The best part? The TCI community are enjoying the passion arson adventures right alongside with you!
Fast forward to today, I now enjoy two full time passions because just working with one is not enough for me! HA!
I am a Voice, Connection & Passion Strategist with a specialty in Voice Artistry Training for Speakers, Professionals and my beloved Performing Arts family at Deb Rogers – The DIVA SERVANT.
Aside from filling the training gaps of performers in a one-on-one coach environment, I also train those using or wishing to use their voice to use their voice with a singer’s sexiness of nuance, subtlety, poise and most of all, presence in my workshops and intensive retreats in locations all over the country.
I have also guest lectured at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and recently been asked to guest lecture at the Australian Performing Arts Network (APAN) where I will be bringing a mixture of my own vocal training and the TCI strategies and models.
It is incredible what can be done with this training and where it can take you and the future looks bright, wherever it takes me. What else is possible?!
Well, you can be certain that the plans are big.

I would like to make on thing clear though, I’m no different to anyone else. I have simply said NO.
NO to the proverbial box, NO to conforming to another’s idea of life and NO to the naysayers and dream stealers.
