Cafés and Restaurants:
There are 3 Cafés on the front side of the TCI Building within walking distance, as well as the pub.
Sushi Lane and Eat Worx - 60 Albert Road, South Melbourne
These two yummy food dispensaries are right across from us. If you are a sushi fan, try Sushi Lane, while Eat Worx does an pretty cool assortment of salads fresh salads and rolls as well as pastries and coffees, this, in my opinion is the place to go for during the week. These places are closed over the weekend. But they do, do catering. Something to think about for the Moon Bear Café.
Mish Café – 70 Albert Road, South Melbourne
This is the next Café down the road, towards Kings Way. This one is not so great in my opinion but is a little bit cheaper. Also only open during the week.
Efresca – Opposite Corner to us, across Kings Way
This little Coffee Place seems to have good coffee and lunch specials. Open only during the week.
The Palmerston Hotel – 51 Palmerston Crescent
Up Kings way just a bit is the Palmerston Hotel, rumoured to do the best Parma in Melbourne, I have to say its pretty good. It’s a very pubby atmosphere, perhaps the new local?
Behind us are several eating places as well as a couple of Centres:
Bowen’s Deli
Right behind us is a tiny alleyway, and on this alleyway is the back entrance to a little centre. This houses the Bowen Deli. It’s a very small deli, but may be good for a quick coffee
St Kilda Towers
There are several place inside St. Kilda Towes for you to get food. There is Asian, Thai, Sushi, Soup, Smoothies, as well as a convenience Store. So you can pretty much have your pick. Next door is a restaurant called Squires Loft which judging by the smell provides amazing food for those meat lovers out there
Venturing further abroad:
If you cross right over to the other side of St. Kilda Road and walk away form the City. There are lots of different eating options. I will list them here:
- The Royce Hotel
- Café Vue (This one looks awesome)
- Café Rosco
- There are some Sushi places
- Subway
- Macdonalds
- And some Café’s
