Grant, a student of The Coaching Institute’s Diploma in Life Coaching, earned back his Diploma fees and more 3 months after his intake. Here he tells us about why he got into coaching and what he’s been up to since his intake weekend this January.My journey in coaching started full time in 2008.

Grant Mullen

Grant Mullen is a Graduating Diploma Student (April 2010) at The Coaching Institute and prior to joining us, has experienced a valuable background in a variety of industries including in excess of 25 Thousand hours of direct sales experience (Corporate Business to Business in Small to medium enterprise, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods) with several of the world’s most respected and admired companies.

“Before all of this I was a hairdresser and a part time barman! Not sure how this all came about” he says playfully.

Accomplished on stage (and off some would say) as a performing artist, Grant offers a unique blend of fun, wit, style and sophistication to his webinars, guarantying a unique series of learnings along the way.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Grant has worked across the globe and now lives by the water in “sunny” Tasmania with his amazing wife and two incredible children.

I have been associated with TCI since I did my intake weekend in June/July 2007. Doing the Advanced Practitioner Life Coaching Course and Certificate 4 in Business with TCI has given me an edge and I can truly say that what I have learnt has transformed me on so many levels!

Becoming part of the Coach and Connect is another step in this great journey. I see Coach and Connect becoming a core event for every coach to experience even more learning and growth through the presentations of the Speakers that we invite for these events. These are key events for coaches to network with other coaches in an environment that encourages and promotes success, sharing of experiences and support for each other as well as provides a platform for sharing coaching concerns and seeking clarifications.

Coach and Connect serves to build a stronger coaching community that will assist each one of us to move forward with a strength that stems from the backing of united effort.
