Share with us a little bit about what you are doing at the moment, how you're using it and what you love about it.?
I'm working as a business coach and we run various coaching programs. Currently, we are serving over 80 clients, and everything that I use my education from TCI every single day in my business. I have the opportunity to speak in front of 20 clients every week. From the structure of my mentoring to how I am going to show up, it's helped me to provide immense value to my clients. Today, I successfully run online webinars with over 90 participants regularly.
Everything I've learned through TCI and the course has enabled me just to step into more and more of those moments in doing that.
Do you think you ever would've been able to do what you're doing right now?
No way, I probably would have, vomited and got so terrified. I couldn't have even got out there. And, you know, it's been stepping through layers of learning. I still remember my first moments even a while ago, coming in and meeting you and alive in a room and getting up on stage in front of a hundred people and being interviewed that alone would have terrified me speaking yet. My fear of public speaking was real.
Taking that from now being able to bring content to a group of people, to not rely on my notes. To be able to take what they share with me and turn it into something that lands with everyone in the room. It's amazing. There is no way I could be where I am today, doing what I'm doing and serving the clients that I am without the trainings.
How does it feel like when you are running a training and preparing the content?
The word high comes to mind. It's that proud moment of, I facilitated that, and I helped them arrive at that moment. The gift in it is just watching what they go and do with the realizations. It's that feeling when you think to yourself, wow, did I do that? It suprising, it's an excitement and brings me a feeling of real fulfillment. It's a genuine connection with why I do what I do.
Did you always want to become a speaker? What encouraged you to get started on this journey?
No, I did not. Even saying the word speaker was wrapped up inside me and it was just scary. I always had a feeling of, no that's not me. But deep inside, knew that to be able to do what I want in order to serve others, I had to master this skill.
When I started my journey with TCI, I knew I had to learn those skills and the training just made it more possible to achieve that. It was like if I just do the work, follow the steps and in such a safe, nurturing environment. I was supported all of the way to just embrace the mistakes that I had to make in my learning. The inevitable part of learning was to be clunky and to be able to laugh at myself and just have fun with it. It's awesome!
