How to Get the Most out of Life
My friend, Joe Pane, says, “Either life is squeezing you or you’re squeezing the most out of life.”
I totally agree.
I’ve been to and run so many amazing events, and at these events there are usually two kinds of people – the people that throw themselves fully in and learn as much as they can, and then there are those who stand back, analyse every minute detail and live pretty much stuck in their head.
This doesn’t just happen at events, it also happens in life.
Some people lean in as much as they can, getting the most out of it. And others, unknowingly, hold themselves back.
So what's the real difference between the two?
The people who become more involved know one simple truth…
That they matter.
Your thoughts, your ideas, your presence, your voice… matters.
You show up to small and big life situations, knowing fully well that you matter.
That's the simple truth to getting the most out of your life.
And when you embrace that truth, you turn up fully immersed. You form more connections and you experience life on a deeper level. You’re not being self-conscious, worrying whether you should be there, or whether people want to hear what you have to say.
