2016 marks TCI’s 12-year anniversary as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 21564).
As the #1 life coaching school in Australasia, this is a huge milestone for us to crack, and we wanted to take this time to celebrate this massive win by sharing the news with you.
Through the last decade, The Coaching Institute has been the industry leader in the field of coaching and human potential, and has achieved ground-breaking success.
Of course, this didn’t happen by chance.
So let’s backtrack a little, shall we?
Sharon Pearson founded The Coaching Institute in 2004, and it quickly grew into the most successful and renowned institute for life coaching in Australasia.
But it was not all peaches and roses from the beginning.
Sharon’s drive and passion for exceptionally high standards brought some new challenges at TCI’s inception.
TCI's Journey in a Snapshot
Back in 2004, there was no government-accredited Diploma.
Recognising this huge gap in the market, TCI was the first to create Diploma of Life Coaching (current course code 10119NAT) in Australia as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 21564) with the national regulatory authority in Australia, ASQA.
Today, TCI has gone on to train over a thousand graduates and has quickly grown to become an Australian leader in coaching.
TCI strives for its mission to recognise coaching as a profession to be respected and recognised as any other profession in the world.
To cater to this mission and the growing need for international recognition among coaches, the International Coach Guild (ICG) was founded as a way to provide the highest standards of training and recognition for coaching students, and for coaching schools in 2013.
The ICG serves coaching students, practitioners and organisations with the highest standards of coaching, global recognition that certifies coaching expertise and resources for continuous professional development, networking and community amongst coaches worldwide.
In the first two weeks of its inception, the ICG received over 200 applications for Associate Membership. Today it stands over 800 members strong.
With the recognition and high standards of the ICG, as well as the option to choose from Nationally Accredited Training (10069NAT Certificate IV in Life Coaching and 10119NAT Diploma of Life Coaching), TCI assures of a phenomenal experience and the opportunity to be aligned with the best coaching training available.
In a nutshell, alongside the Core Courses, TCI offers students the option to choose Nationally Accredited Trainings in the form of 10069NAT Certificate IV in Life Coaching and the 10119NAT Diploma of Life Coaching.
What this means is that you can become either internationally recognised with the International Coach Guild or nationally accredited.
However, if you choose the International pathway, you achieve a standard of coaching education which is at par with any national accreditation with an RTO.
The Coaching Institute practises continued dedication to advancing and elevating standards in the coaching industry.
Staying true to this philosophy, TCI has been a pioneer in setting benchmarks for other coaching schools to follow and catch up on.
TCI has been revolutionalising the coaching industry, such as offering world’s only research-based coaching methodology, Meta Dynamics™, that coaches from all over the world are now requesting access to.
The methodology revolutionises the next level of NLP, based on the original work of Richard Bandler and John Grinder. NLP has been providing solutions for a happier and more fulfilling life for millions of people for over forty years.
We’ve had experts like John Assaraf and Brian Tracy experience the methodology and Meta Dynamics™ Profiling Tool.
Staying true to its mission of bringing elite-level coaching to the world, TCI offers Level IV (ICG0104AC0) International Accredited Professional Master Coach application-only program, the most advanced program available for someone who wants to reach the pinnacle of coaching. It happens to be the preferred choice of most students who are serious about coaching.
The Accredited Professional Master Coach is considered a high-level program that takes you to the summit of your game, and will help you make a huge difference in the world, as a master practitioner.
At the end of the program, students not only learn to establish a thriving coaching practice, but also unleash their ability to effectively conduct Group Coaching, Consulting, Facilitation, and Workshop Presentations.
They also have the ability to harness the power of the Meta Dynamics™ Profiling Tool to get even bigger results for clients.
Today, as Australasia's #1 institute for life coaching, TCI has touched lives of over 6,000 people and helped them realise their dreams and live the life of a coach – students come from Russia, the USA, Denmark and Thailand just to name a few countries.
Choosing to become a life, leadership or business coach gives you the opportunity to create a career where you can really make a difference – and do it on your own terms. There are no limits to where you can take your career. The possibilities are endless.
TCI continues to be at the forefront of coaching and human potential technologies that encompass much more than just coaching and attracts enthusiastic people from many backgrounds who want to learn how to make a difference and are committed to discovering how to be their own personal best.
